Office Security Systems Brisbane

Alltronic designs, installs and services office security systems across Brisbane and South East Queensland: alarms, access control, CCTV, intercoms and back-to-base monitoring, specified around how your office operates. In an office you will be protecting people during the day, the facility, equipment and records after hours, and the doors in between.

We have been providing office security systems since 1992, and the same team that designs your system installs it and services it.

Office alarm systems

An office alarm system has to suit a building that is busy, then empty, then partly occupied when someone works late. System programming and correctly configured monitoring protocols matter for seamless operation.

For offices we install and program Bosch Solution 6000 alarm systems, which handle that occupancy pattern well:

Where an office needs a higher specification, or the alarm and access control running as one platform, we specify Inner Range or Tecom as part of our commercial alarm systems work. Where an office sits in a multi-tenanted building, we specify the tenancy system to work alongside base-building security.

Office door access control

Alltronic access control systems enable keyless access for staff and contractors, managed through simple platforms for instant, secure, controlled rollout of permanent and temporary access.

We build office access control on Suprema BioStar, using cards, fobs, PIN or biometrics depending on the door and who uses it, and on Avigilon Alta where an office wants cloud management and mobile credentials rather than an on-site server. Either way you get:

Server rooms, records storage, plant rooms and executive areas are typically restricted separately to the main office entry.

Office security cameras

Office CCTV covers the points where accountability matters most: entries and exits, reception, lifts and lobbies, car park and vehicle access with licence plate recognition, and back-of-house areas holding equipment or records.

Cameras are critical in an office. They deter and evidence after-hours entry. They resolve disputes about what happened, whether that is a delivery, an injury or a visitor’s conduct. And they let whoever is responsible for the site see it from their phone without being there.

We specify each office security camera system to the site, choosing the camera and recording platform and setting recording, retention and remote access to suit how the office needs to use and view the footage. Recordings are searchable by time and event, so retrieving the relevant clip after an incident does not mean scrubbing through hours of video. Where more is needed than a record after the fact, data analytics through the VMS turns the cameras into something that notifies you as events happen.

Office intercoms and visitor entry

Many offices run a locked entry with an intercom rather than a staffed reception all day. We install office intercom systems that let staff see and speak to a visitor before releasing the door, from a handset, a desk station or a phone. Depending on the building and how the entry is managed, that is usually Aiphone, Akuvox or BioStar.

Where the office has more than one entry, or staff move between floors, the intercom integrates with access control so a released door is still a recorded event.

Office alarm monitoring and response

Office systems report to A1 Grade back-to-base monitoring. When an activation comes in, operators assess it against your response plan and act: calling nominated staff, dispatching a patrol to attend, or escalating to police where there is evidence of entry. You get a report on what was found.

For offices in precincts with a history of after-hours activity, scheduled patrols alongside alarm response are worth considering. Patrol visits check entries, car park access and perimeter doors, with each visit logged.

Servicing your office security system

Our scheduled and reactive maintenance team keeps your systems functioning. We service what we install: scheduled preventative visits, reactive call-outs, remote support for access and user changes, and help for whoever administers the system day to day. Access changes and user updates are usually handled remotely and quickly, without a site visit.

Frequently asked questions

At minimum, a monitored alarm system covering entries and internal areas, and access control on the main entry so keys are not the only thing standing between the street and your office. Most offices add CCTV at entries and back-of-house, and an intercom where reception is not staffed all day. Offices holding sensitive records or significant IT equipment restrict those rooms separately.

Yes. Access control is set per person and per door, including time rules, so cleaners, contractors and after-hours staff only reach the doors and hours they need. Each entry is recorded.

With access control, that person’s card, fob or credential is removed immediately and the door stays secure. There is no lock change and no need to reissue keys to everyone else, which is the usual cost and disruption of a lost office key.

Yes. The alarm is partitioned so areas such as reception, individual tenancy floors, server rooms and storage arm and disarm independently. Staff working late in one area do not have to leave the rest of the office unarmed.

The signal reaches the A1 Grade monitoring centre, operators assess it against your response plan, and the response follows: nominated staff contacted, a patrol dispatched to attend, or police escalation where there is evidence of entry. You receive a report on what was found.

Yes. Duress buttons are fitted where staff are most exposed, typically reception, and for staff working alone or after hours. Pressing one sends a signal straight to the monitoring centre, which follows your escalation plan rather than sounding a siren in the room. Many of our office clients run duress alongside their alarm system.

Yes. Multi-site offices are commonly run as one access control and monitoring arrangement, with consistent user management and reporting across sites rather than a separate system per office.
