Security Patrols Brisbane

Alltronic provides security patrols across Brisbane and South East Queensland: patrol response to alarm activations, scheduled patrols on the frequency you set, and static guards booked by the hour.

For a commercial site, a patrol means alarm activations are checked on the ground by a trained patrol guard, allowing your alarm activations to be investigated without disturbing staff or management outside of business hours. Patrols can hold keys, enter gated yards and check internal areas, thoroughly inspecting your site.

Patrol response to alarm activations

When an alarm activates on a monitored site, the control room assesses the signal and dispatches a patrol. The patrol attends, inspects the premises, establishes whether there has been an actual entry, secures the site, and escalates to police where the situation calls for it. You get a report on what was found.

For sites that sit unoccupied overnight, across weekends, or through shutdown periods, this is what turns a monitored alarm into an attended one.

Patrol response works with back-to-base monitoring: the control room receives and assesses the signal, the patrol provides the physical response.

Scheduled patrols

Scheduled patrols put a presence on your site at a frequency you set: how many visits per night, how many per day, and which days of the week. Cover can run continuously or across defined risk periods, most commonly weekends and overnight.

Timing within each visit is randomised deliberately. A patrol that arrives at the same time every night teaches anyone watching precisely when the site is checked and when it is not.

Each visit covers the perimeter, entry points, gates and roller doors, plus anything specific you want checked, and the visit is logged.

What patrols find is often not an intruder. On manufacturing and large industrial sites running overnight patrols, our officers regularly find gates, roller doors and entry doors left unlocked or standing open, sometimes with the lights still on. Those are the nights a patrol earns its keep before anything happens at all.

Static guards

Where a site needs someone stationed rather than visiting, static guards are booked by the hour. This suits defined situations: a period of heightened risk, an event, a temporary security requirement, or cover while a system is being repaired or upgraded.

How a patrol response works

Which patrol service suits your site

Patrol response suits any monitored site that sits unoccupied: offices, warehouses, retail premises, schools, manufacturing plants. Scheduled patrols suit sites where presence and physical checks are the point, particularly industrial yards, manufacturing sites and construction sites with plant and materials on the ground. Static guards suit defined, temporary needs.

Most commercial sites are best served by patrol response on the alarm, with scheduled patrols added across higher-risk periods.

Frequently asked questions

A mobile patrol is a security officer who travels between sites rather than being stationed at one. They attend on a schedule or in response to an alarm activation, inspect the premises, and report what they find. It gives a site a physical security presence without the cost of a guard stationed on site.

The patrol inspects the perimeter, entry points and internal areas, establishes what triggered the alarm, secures the premises if a door or gate has been left open or forced, and escalates to police where there is evidence of entry. The site owner receives a report on what was found.

Patrol response is dispatched immediately once the control room has assessed the alarm. Arrival time depends on the site’s location and what else is active on the network at the time.

Yes. You set the number of visits per night or per day and the days of the week. Timing within each visit is varied so the pattern cannot be predicted.

For patrol response, yes, because the response is triggered by an activation on a monitored system. Scheduled patrols and static guards do not require an alarm system.

Yes. Patrols can hold keys and access codes for your site, which allows checks inside gated yards, compounds and internal areas rather than an external inspection only.

A patrol attends a site and moves on, either on a schedule or in response to an alarm. A static guard remains on site for a booked period. Patrols suit ongoing coverage across a site’s quiet hours; static guards suit a defined period where continuous presence is needed.
