The JO Series is Aiphone’s home video intercom: a door station at the entry and a 7-inch touchscreen monitor inside, with a wide-angle camera, picture memory and smartphone connection, so you can see and speak to whoever is at the door from the couch or from anywhere. The IX Series is the platform behind many of our commercial intercom installations. It runs on your IP network over standard Cat-5e or Cat-6 cabling: video entry, internal communication, paging and emergency stations, with remote door release and SIP compatibility so calls can route to phones. It scales from a single door to campus-wide systems, which is why it’s specified for schools, industrial facilities, car parks and offices. The IXG Series extends the same platform for mixed-use and multi-tenant commercial buildings with mobile app management. Both integrate with access control and CCTV, so the intercom is part of your greater security system platform.
An intercom system needs a high standard of professional installation: door station placement, cabling, network configuration and programming are crucial for day to day performance of your Aiphone intercom system. Our licensed technicians (Security Licence 4226262) design from a site assessment, install and program the system, and integrate it with your alarms, cameras and access control where wanted.
