Home / Residential / Alarm Monitoring
Alltronic provides 24/7 alarm monitoring for homes across Brisbane and South East Queensland. When your monitored alarm activates, trained operators at an A1 Graded monitoring centre respond immediately: verifying the alert, contacting you, and escalating to keyholders, patrols or emergency services as needed. Protecting Queensland homes since 1992.

Back to base monitoring (also written back 2 base) connects your alarm system to a monitoring centre that watches your home around the clock. Instead of an alarm that only makes noise, every activation, tamper signal and low battery alert is received and acted on, whether you’re home, at work or overseas. It’s the difference between hoping a neighbour hears your alarm and knowing someone is responding.

We supply, install and monitor complete home alarm systems, and we can connect most existing alarms to monitoring, including Bosch and Ajax systems. Whether you need a new monitored burglar alarm system or want your current house alarm monitored, we design the system around your home and how you live. A monitored alarm can also reduce your home insurance premium: many insurers offer discounts for professionally monitored homes.
Back to base monitoring doesn’t mean giving up control. You can still arm, disarm and see your system from your phone: the MyAlarm iFob app for Bosch 6000 systems, or the Ajax app for Ajax systems, with the monitoring centre watching alongside you. Some households choose app-only self-monitoring instead; it can suit, but it relies on you seeing every alert. Read our guide comparing professional and self-monitoring.
Not every home wants a control room. A self-monitored alarm sends every event straight to your phone, and you decide what happens next. We run two self-monitoring paths: MyAlarm with iFob Control for existing alarm panels, and the Ajax app for Ajax systems, with optional 4G so the connection doesn’t depend on your home internet. If you’d rather someone acted on every event around the clock, back to base monitoring is the service you need.
A monitored alarm system is an alarm connected to a monitoring centre that receives and responds to every activation, 24 hours a day. Unlike a siren-only alarm, a monitored system means trained operators verify each alert and act on it: contacting you, your keyholders, or emergency services.
Alarm monitoring is a straightforward fixed monthly cost, and unlike many providers we don’t tie you into a contract. Pricing depends on your system and connection type; call (07) 3353 3248 and we’ll give you the exact figure upfront.
The signal reaches the monitoring centre within seconds. Operators verify the activation, phone your contacts in the order you’ve set, and escalate to keyholders, patrol response if you’ve added it, or emergency services for verified emergencies: police, or the fire brigade for monitored smoke alarms.
Yes: an unmonitored alarm still sounds locally, and many systems offer app alerts you can watch yourself. The difference is response. A siren relies on someone nearby caring; monitoring means a professional response every time, whether you’re home, asleep or overseas.
In most cases, yes. We connect most existing alarm systems to back to base monitoring, including Bosch and Ajax, and our technicians will confirm compatibility before anything is charged.
It can. Many insurers offer discounts or lower premiums for homes with professionally monitored alarm systems, because monitored homes carry a lower risk of loss from break-ins. Check with your insurer for the exact saving.
Yes. Your system reports its health daily to the monitoring centre, our technicians review those reports, and our service and maintenance department fixes issues promptly, often before you’d notice them.
We provide alarm monitoring to homes across Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Moreton Bay, Redland Bay and the Sunshine Coast.
