The drivers are the size of the home, the number of detectors, keypads and reed switches, and the camera count. The from-prices above are real installed figures including GST, and the exact number comes with a quote for your property.
The one designed for the house rather than bought off a shelf. For most Brisbane homes that means a Bosch Solution 6000 or Ajax alarm as the base, cameras on the entries and driveway, and monitoring behind it. Which platform wins depends on the building: hardwired suits accessible cabling, Ajax wireless suits two-storey and existing homes and people who prefer all their systems to run through a single app.
Both. Systems can self-monitor through the app, connected over IP or 4G, or connect to 24/7 back to base monitoring through an A1 Grade Australian control room, where a triggered alarm is actioned in seconds, however busy your day is.
Many of the systems we install are a combination: hardwired where access for cabling is possible, wireless where it is not, such as the lower level of a two-storey home. The panel treats every zone the same, wired or wireless.
A standard home system is installed, programmed and handed over in a day. Larger homes and commercial sites run longer, and we tell you the schedule with the quote.
For upgrades, yes: older panels from most brands can be upgraded to a current Bosch 6000, reusing sound wiring and compatible sensors, which keeps the cost well below a new installation. For servicing a system we did not install, contact our service department with the make and model and we will let you know whether we can take it on.
