A commercial intercom answers a constant mix of arrivals: staff, deliveries, visitors and contractors, each routed to the right destination and after-hours calls routed to none. Whoever answers sees and speaks to the caller before granting entry, and grants it from a handset, tenant station, or phone on any network.
Modern IP door stations combine a wide-angle camera, two-way audio with noise and echo cancellation, and a multi-technology reader in one weather and vandal-resistant unit. Video is associated with every entry event, so each door release is recorded against who was granted access and when. Entry can be granted by mobile credential, card, fob, PIN, or touchless unlock, and the system supports remote unlocking with user-level privileges.
We configure the entry flow to the building: door and gate station placement, call routing and after-hours behaviour, and integration with the access control, cameras, gates and lift systems already on site.

We service and support the systems we install, keeping entry hardware at the building’s busiest point working reliably. Because a service relationship depends on the platform, we scope maintenance with the system at the time of install or upgrade.

A residential intercom typically connects one entrance to one home. A commercial or multi-tenant intercom connects one or more entrances to many destinations: offices, units or apartments, with a directory, call routing, and usually integration with access control and lift systems. Sometimes, but not always. Some modern systems can run on existing cabling, but older buildings vary and the wiring configuration often determines which products can be used at all. It takes a site visit to test the existing wiring and confirm what the building will support before we can recommend a system.
Yes. On most commercial sites the intercom, access control, cameras and lift control work as one system, so a released entry can be logged, recorded and limited to the right door or floor. Integration is usually the point of a commercial install rather than an add-on.
