What you’re looking at below is the same scene, captured at the same moment on each brand: one set in full daylight, one at night, because night is where camera systems earn their keep. Ajax cameras double as intrusion detectors on the Ajax wireless platform, so camera, alarm and app work as one system. The onboard AI holds false alarms to 1% in real-life conditions, so an alert from an Ajax camera is worth looking at. The right fit where the camera system and alarm system should be a single ecosystem.
Dahua’s smart motion detection identifies people and vehicles with 99% accuracy in standard test scenarios, and its active deterrence models carry the siren, spotlight and strobe response. The range covers everything from a four-camera home system to full-colour night vision at the top end.

A dependable camera system comes from three things done properly in every security camera installation. A standard home installation is completed in a day.
The equipment is chosen for your property at assessment: the layout of your home, its vulnerable points and your security concerns shape the design. Camera positions are planned so coverage lands where it matters, at entries, driveway and yard, and avoids obstructions, glare and dead zones. Most homes are well covered by four to six cameras, but the number follows the property’s layout.
Cabling is where camera installations succeed or fail years later. Ours is concealed and neat, run to a professional standard by licensed technicians, with the recorder and power protected so the system isn’t compromised by substandard cabling.
The system and its detection zones are programmed and tested by an experienced technician, feeds to your devices are checked, and secure user access is set up before we leave. You get a walkthrough of live view, playback and alerts on your phone, so you know exactly how to use your camera system.
Hardwired, not wireless
We install hardwired camera systems: cameras cabled to an NVR recording 24/7, backed by a UPS battery so recording continues through power interruptions. Hardwired means dependable recording that runs over cable to the recorder, with nothing resting on camera batteries or a wireless link.
We install cameras at 6MP (3K) and 8MP, which is 4K resolution, sharp enough to identify faces and number plates. Current cameras bring night vision that holds full colour in low light, and person and vehicle detection smart enough that an alert means something. That’s a complete home CCTV system: recording around the clock, watchable from wherever you are.
Recorder storage is sized at one terabyte per camera, which holds roughly 30 days of continuous recording. Need longer retention? Storage is specified to suit at assessment.

Prevention, not just proof
Recording matters: full-colour night footage of a break-in is what identifies the offender afterwards. But the better outcome is the intrusion that never happens. A security camera with siren, spotlight and strobe built in detects a person entering a zone you’ve defined and responds on the spot with light, red and blue strobes, siren and voice warning, before anyone reaches a door. And a security camera with alarm integration goes further: we link Ajax and Dahua cameras into the alarm system, so a perimeter event can activate the alarm and monitored response.
Outdoor cameras have become genuine perimeter devices. With on-camera person and vehicle detection, surveillance cameras at the fence line, driveway and yard raise the alert before anyone reaches the house.

Security camera installation cost depends on the number of cameras, the camera grade, and the degree of difficulty and time needed to conceal cabling, and conduiting where concealment is not possible. We quote fixed from a site assessment.
A standard home installation is completed in a day, including programming, testing and the app walkthrough. Larger properties or complex cabling runs can take longer, and we tell you that at quote stage.
