Ajax is Europe’s largest manufacturer of security systems, and one of the most capable platforms we install: alarms, cameras, fire detection and automation running as one system in one app. Alltronic is an accredited Ajax installer for both wireless and Fibra wired systems, designing, installing and programming Ajax for homes and businesses across Brisbane and South East Queensland.
An Ajax system combines internal and perimeter intrusion protection, video surveillance, fire and life safety, and comfort and automation devices, all managed in a single interface. Add what the property needs: start with a wireless alarm, add perimeter detectors, add cameras, add a video doorbell, add smoke detection, add leak detection, add lighting automation, and everything works together in one system and in one app.
Yes. Ajax cameras are detection devices, not just recorders. Each camera carries its own AI processing that distinguishes people, vehicles and animals in real time, so a camera can be armed like a detector and raise an alarm when someone enters where nobody should be. Detection behaviour is programmed to the site: which cameras arm, in which zones, at which times. And it works in both directions, so when any detector in the system triggers, cameras deliver footage in seconds to verify what’s happening before anyone responds. Fewer false alarms, faster real ones.
Ajax perimeter detectors protect your property from the outside, at the boundary, before intruders reach your home or business. MotionProtect Outdoor and the dual-curtain outdoor detectors use two infrared sensors and a two-step analysis algorithm to tell a person from a cat, a possum or moving foliage, so the system alerts on a real intrusion rather than notifying of false alarms, the failure that makes most people ignore notifications.
They also watch themselves. An outdoor detector is an easy daytime target, so Ajax units carry an anti-masking system and tamper detection that stay active even when the alarm is disarmed. If someone covers, paints or interferes with a sensor while casing the property for a later break-in, the system knows.
Because Ajax is wireless and battery-backed, with up to five years on a single set of batteries, perimeter detection goes where cabling can’t run easily: fence lines, sheds, pool gates, driveways and outbuildings. Each device reports to the same hub and app as the rest of the system, so an outdoor trigger can sound a siren, notify you, and send a monitored signal if your property is back to base monitored. One system covering the ground before the walls.
Outdoor detection suits any property wanting early warning before a break-in rather than confirmation that one has happened. Getting it right outdoors is where experience counts. We map the property’s real approach paths and blind spots, position detection to catch genuine intrusion while screening out passing foot traffic, headlights and neighbouring movement, and program each zone so the alerts you get are the ones that matter.
Ajax automation runs through the same app as the alarm. Relay, WallSwitch and Socket devices switch gates, garage doors, lighting and appliances, and scenarios tie them to the way the system is used: trigger devices with one tap, on a schedule, or from an arming event, so setting the alarm at night can also lock the gate and turn off the lights.
Scenarios can also react to alarm events, switching lighting or power when a detector triggers. It is the same platform as the alarm, cameras and doorbell, one app rather than several.
Ajax made its name in wireless: alarm systems with no cabling to run, which makes them the natural fit for established homes and fit-outs where walls stay closed. Detectors, keypads and sirens communicate on Ajax’s own encrypted radio protocol with years of battery life, and the app comes standard, with arming, alerts and history on your phone from day one. For sites that call for wired, Ajax Fibra delivers the same platform over cable, and we’re accredited for both. Systems can also be upgraded with 4G communication for added security on the connection itself.
The same platform scales commercially: partitioned arming, user management, automation scenarios where an event triggers a programmed response, and alarm verification that shows the monitoring operator footage before a patrol is committed. Ajax video products are NDAA compliant, which matters for sites with equipment standards to meet. For larger commercial platforms, Ajax sits alongside enterprise systems such as Inner Range and Tecom in our commercial alarm work. Wireless devices and app-based management also suit temporary and changing sites, including construction sites, where detectors mount to fencing, hoarding and scaffolding and reposition as the site develops.
Ajax devices ship with no default passwords, authenticate through encrypted certificates, and update over the air. Privacy zones can mask parts of a camera’s frame. It’s a platform engineered by a security company, and it shows.
Alltronic is an accredited Ajax installer, which includes access to Ajax’s Superior product range, available only through accredited security professionals. The difference between an Ajax box and an Ajax system is the programming: detection zones, arming schedules, camera behaviour and automation scenarios set up to the property. We design from a site assessment, install, program and support the system, with monitoring available behind it.
Yes. On-camera AI recognises people and vehicles, and cameras can be armed to raise alarms like any detector. The behaviour is programmed to your site.
Ajax is modular, so the price follows what the property needs. We quote from a site assessment, fixed and upfront.
Ajax runs on its own encrypted radio protocol with long battery life and tamper monitoring, and it’s certified to the same intrusion standards as wired systems. Where wired suits the site better, Ajax Fibra runs the same platform over cable.
Yes, as standard: arming, alerts, cameras and history in one app.
Yes, from small commercial through to multi-site, alongside our other commercial platforms.
Yes. Ajax systems connect to our A1 Grade back-to-base monitoring, with photo and video verification of events.
