That night-time colour comes from Dahua’s Full-color technology: an F1.0 aperture that collects two and a half times more light than a standard lens, paired with high-sensitivity sensors and AI image processing. Where a conventional camera drops to grainy black and white after dark, a Dahua Full-color camera keeps recording the details that matter, clothing colours, vehicle colours, number plates, all night.
WizSense is Dahua’s AI platform, running on an independent AI chip inside the camera. It recognises humans and vehicles with high accuracy and filters out everything else. Pets, possums, moving branches, rain and headlights don’t trigger alerts; people and vehicles do. Dahua’s Smart Motion Detection is specifically trained to filter out animals large and small, which is the difference between an alert you check and a notification stream you learn to ignore.
Dahua’s TiOC (Three-in-One Camera) combines full-colour night vision, AI detection and active deterrence in one unit. When the camera confirms a person or vehicle inside a zone you’ve defined, it responds on its own: red and blue strobe lights, a siren, and a spoken warning, either pre-recorded or live through two-way talk. It happens on the camera, instantly, without waiting for anyone to see an alert. For driveways, yards and business premises after hours, it turns the camera from a witness into a deterrent.

Within those tiers sit turret, dome, bullet and fisheye bodies, fixed and varifocal lenses, and resolutions from 4MP to 4K 8MP. We specify the right body and lens for each position rather than fitting the same camera everywhere.
A Dahua camera system records to a Dahua NVR (network video recorder), and the recorder is where the system earns its keep after an event. Dahua’s AI-enabled NVRs support fast, accurate target search: rather than scrubbing through hours of footage, the system finds human and vehicle events and lets you pick out the target of interest in seconds. Storage is sized to your retention needs, and footage is viewable live and on playback from the DMSS app on your phone, wherever you are.
A PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) camera moves: it pans across a scene, tilts, and zooms optically to read detail at distance. Dahua’s PTZ range includes auto-tracking models that lock onto a detected person or vehicle and follow it through the scene automatically. For large yards, carparks, rural properties and commercial sites where one fixed view isn’t enough, a Dahua PTZ covers ground that would otherwise take several fixed cameras.
For a home system, the WizSense range with Full-color night vision covers most needs: accurate alerts to your phone, colour footage around the clock, and a TiOC camera on the driveway or side access if you want deterrence as well as recording. Yes, exceptionally well. Full-color models record in colour at night using large-aperture lenses and high-sensitivity sensors, and Smart Dual-Light models switch between infrared and warm light automatically depending on what’s happening in the scene.
For a multi-camera system, yes, a Dahua NVR is the recorder the system runs on, and it’s where the AI search features live. Some models can also record to an SD card as a backup. We size the NVR and storage to your camera count and retention needs.
