About The Role
This is a hands-on opportunity to kickstart your career in the fast-evolving security and technology industry. As an Apprentice Security Technician, you’ll learn from experienced professionals while working on real installations, from residential alarms to complex commercial access systems. You’ll complete your apprenticeship through a combination of TAFE studies and on-the-job training. Our head office is located in the northern suburbs of Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the installation, service, and maintenance of CCTV, alarm systems, intercoms, and access control
- Learn to work with leading brands like AJAX, Bosch, Dahua, Hanwha, and Airfob
- Gain experience across residential and commercial security projects
- Attend TAFE and receive on-site mentoring to complete your apprenticeship
- Follow technical procedures and safety standards on every job.
Skills & Experience
- Strong interest in tech, electronics, or security systems
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Team player with a good work ethic and attention to detail
- Good communication and basic problem-solving skills
- Well groomed presentation
- Current driver's licence
- Eligible to obtain a Security Licence

Where is your office located?
Our head office is in Everton Hills, in Brisbane’s northern suburbs. We service Brisbane and the wider South East Queensland region.
What are your opening hours?
Our Brisbane office is open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm (closed weekends). For professionally monitored clients, our A1 Grade control room operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. For office enquiries, call 07 3353 3248.
